Academic Programs

The Faculty of Health Sciences offers a variety of academic programs in the Health Sciences. Curricula are community-oriented and multidisciplinary, to equip graduates with the professional literacy, competencies, teamwork, and skills needed to meet challenges in the dynamic work environment of today's health sector.

Undergraduate degree programs lead to a Bachelor of Science degree within a minimum of a three-year framework:

Students who are interested in a career as a physician can combine their undergraduate degree with a track leading to the completion of pre-medical requirements. Check out the possibilities under each degree program, or click here for more information.

The Faculty also offers the possibility of a dual degree, permitting students to gain two BS degrees. Dual degree programs exist between Public Health and Development Sciences and Health Promotion, and between Medical Laboratory Sciences and Public Health and Development Sciences. Other possibilities are under development.  Click here for details.

At the graduate level, the Faculty offers a Master of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, with various specializations, and a professional Master degree in Laboratory Management. A Master in Public Health (MPH) is expected to be launched soon.

Other Master programs are currently under development. Click here for details.

Academic programs are complemented by the Co-Academic Programs and the Co-Curricular Program, which give students the opportunity to get involved with applied experience on campus and service in the community.

The Faculty requires all students to complete a course in Red Cross training, as part of their professional commitment and preparation for community service.
