Drizzle ‘n’ Sizzle Wiz Ze Expertz​

This year, our Restaurant Management class project which was named “DRIZZLE ’N’ SIZZLE WIZ ZE EXPERTZ”, included inviting an expert guest to cook with the THM students for the faculty members and instructors at our restaurant. Our expert guest was Chef Abdallah Khodor, who is the head chef at Le Gray Hotel Beirut. The tasks of our class as a whole were to organize this event by distributing several duties among us. These duties included contacting different graphic designers that volunteered to propose several wonderful logos to brand this project, contacting camera men to film the event, assisting the chef during the cooking process and preparing the menu, creating and designing the souvenir gift offered to the chef at the end of the event. The menu was made up of a starter, which was Baked Roma Tomato Galette, with a main course of Thai Baked Sea Bass in Banana Leaf, and finally a mouth-watering Roasted Fresh Pineapple infused with Mediterranean Spices and Coconut Sorbet as a dessert. All these courses picked from the Indigo restaurant at Le Gray. Furthermore, a student was in charge of our Facebook page, whereas another was responsible of selecting the music, therefore everyone participated in this great event. The event was a huge success due to our commitment, hard work, dedication, relentless effort, and teamwork, and of course due to the support and guidance of our instructor, Mr. Laurent Yacoub.
