Kitchen Lab

Students in this lab will experience the real life of kitchen operation. They will be exposed to proper menu planning, food production and to channels of communication between the dining room and the kitchen. They will be involved in cooking an entire meal (salad, soup, main entrée and dessert) for different numbers of invitees and customers.  

During this lab, they will put into practice all the information learned in the following courses: Cost Control, Food Production I, Safety and Sanitation and Purchasing.
