Autoregressive Modeling Application For Vascular Zones Detection In The Contrast Echographic Images

ABSTRACT: The ultrasound imaging introduces contrast agent to discern well between the blood and the surrounding tissues. But the backscattered signals from agent and tissues are still close. It is necessary to implement signal treatment methods to enhance the contrast echo. In this article, we apply the autoregressive model by variety procedures using the non linear behavior agent properties. Then, we treat the obtained pictures by classification and ruptures detection methods. Finally, we reach our aim to differentiate the ultrasound image into two classes. We use the Agent to Tissue Ratio (ATR) factor to compare the performance between methods, and to study the influence of the bubble concentration and the Mechanical index (MI) level.
