Cognitive Approach as a Basis for Enhanced Curricula

ABSTRACT: The cognitive approach based on constructivism, on personal development, and on mastering different communication tools, provides a framework for substantial changes in the higher education curriculum design and instructional methods for developing countries. This approach, highlighted by integrated curriculum, situated learning and application to real world settings is described and proposed as a vehicle to achieve educational productivity and quality.
