In celebration of the International Museum Day, the Department of Archaeology and Museology of the University of Balamand organized an exhibition entitled “Constantin Kawas Collection, the story of a jeweler from Tripoli” at the Ethnographic Museum, Goat House at the University of Balamand. 

Mr. Constantin is a jeweler from Tripoli. In 2011, he donated 150 pieces from his collection of tools to the Ethnographic Museum.

The exhibition included some of his tools, his workbench that he used since he started working at the age of fourteen  and in addition, the exhibition showcased some old jewelry pieces.

The exhibition will run through the 30th of May 2016, knowing that part of this collection will be added to the permanent exhibition of the Ethnographic Museum.​ ​
