A. Life and Health Insurance Plan
For full time Non-Academic employees, the University has raised life insurance from $15,000 to $30,000 for all its staff members; this provides a greater degree of security for the families of staff members. Health insurance is provided under the Government’s Social and Health Security Plan.

B. Educational Allowances
Non-academic University personnel who have completed at least one full regular semester of service (summer not considered regular semester) are entitled to take one undergraduate course at the University each semester (not a tutorial) free of charge.  Only one additional undergraduate course may be taken but the hours must fall outside the working schedule and a non-academic employee must pay for the additional course. This privilege is extended also to staff on academic appointments who are fulfilling staff functions

Non-academic staff can benefit from a children’s education allowance up to LL 1,250,000 per child for a maximum of two children, that is, with an upper limit of L.L 2,500,000.

C. Family Allowance
A family allowance is payable by the University once a month to all eligible  employees in accordance with the provisions of the Lebanese Social Security Law.

D. Transportation Allowance
The University provides adequate transportation to and from the University. In exceptional cases when it is not feasible to do so, a transportation allowance up to LL. 8000/day may be paid to the employee.

E. National Health and Social Security Fund
As provided for in the Lebanese laws and Decrees, Non Academic employees are covered by the medical, sickness, work related accidents and maternity branch of the Lebanese National Social Security Fund (NSSF). The employee is liable to 10 percent of all hospitalization costs and 80 percent of medication and examination expenses.

F. End of Service Indemnity
The official retirement age in Lebanon is 64. At the age of 60, an employee can ask for early retirement and end-of-service and will obtain full compensation provided he/she has completed 20 years of service. Employees who opt to end their service prior to age sixty or before completing 20 years of service are entitled to compensation and benefits as stipulated by Lebanese law.​​
