UOB
LIBRARIES JOIN
"LIDS" (Lebanese Inter-Library and Document Delivery
Service)
LIDS is a network of academic libraries in Lebanon whose
main objective in the broadest sense is to share
documents not available in the user’s local library thus
increasing access to information materials for students,
faculty and staff of the participating libraries. The
current members are the Lebanese American University
(LAU), Notre Dame University (NDU), University of
Balamand (UOB) and Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (USEK),
with the hopes of increasing the number of participants.
Students, faculty and staff who submit requests via
their institution’s ILL-DDS Office are assured of
receiving material from any of the four Lebanese
institutions in an orderly and efficient way.
