Audio-visual:
The
University Library offers a wide range of equipment to
aid the user. These include microform readers, TV. and
video and tape recorders. Advance reservation is
recommended.
TOP
IT:
Workstations
provide access to the internet (from which the Library
supplied databases and e-journals can be accessed),
networked CD-ROMs and e-mail.
OPAC
PCs (on the ground floor) are dedicated to accessing the
Library catalog only and should not be used for any
other purpose.

Photocopying
Services:
Public-use
photocopiers are located in the Library on the ground
floor and in the Fine Arts Library in Kazan Hall. Before
using the photocopiers, users are required to purchase a
copy card (L.L. 5,000 for 100 copies). Any problems with
these machines should immediately be referred to the
Circulation desk.

Printing
Services:
Library
Printing Services allow registered students to do non-fee-based printing
(300 pages/semester). This facility is found in the
Multimedia Center (Room 304, 1st floor).

Study
Areas:
The
Library has a study area capacity of 170 users
(Ground and 1st floors). A group study area
has been allocated on the 1st floor.

Current
Awareness:
New
materials added to stock are displayed on shelves by the
Circulation Desk. Its availability for borrowing can be
checked through the OPAC. Notice boards in various
places display information about events, library
announcements, forthcoming conferences, library student
projects, and a selection of recent press cuttings.
