The University of Balamand (UOB) proudly hosted the Business Expo 2025 on the 13th of May, at its Koura Campus. The event was organized by the Business Connections Club in coordination with the Faculty of Business and Management (FOBM).

Students from both the Koura Campus and the Souk El Gharb Business Programs participated in the expo, presenting a wide variety of projects. These included technology-based ideas, service solutions, business plans, marketing strategies, research papers and even existing businesses that some students are already running. The Expo also gave opportunity for students to showcase their final course projects, integrating academic requirements with practical experience.

All projects were presented within an academic framework, highlighting strong research, planning, and innovation skills. These projects were part of a competition judged by a panel that included both UOB instructors and external professionals.

Dr. Karim Rebeiz, Dean of FOBM, shared his thoughts on the event, saying: “This expo is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their projects. It’s a dynamic learning experience where they can share ideas, gain feedback, and get inspired. We hope it helps them take a step closer to turning their ideas into reality.”

The Business Expo 2025 provided a space for innovation, learning, and networking, giving students a valuable platform to connect academic work with real-world business opportunities.
