Tuesday, February 22, 2022 - Chargé- d'Affaires of the Paraguayan Embassy in Lebanon, Minister Dr. Fernando Parisi, accompanied by Mrs. Leticia Perlé from the Paraguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a delegation from the Embassy, visited the University of Balamand, where they were received by Vice President for Internationalization and Engagement and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University, Professor Rami Abboud, and Assistant to the Vice President, Director of Student Affairs Mr. Michael Salem. The visit was an occasion to discuss the status of higher education in Lebanon and other public affairs and included a tour of the campus. Impressed by the campus and facilities, Dr. Parisi expresssed his keeness to establish academic cooperation between his country and the university.​
