In the context of the close cooperation between the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Balamand and the Lebanese Army, UOB Vice President for Internationalization and Engagement and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Rami Abboud, visited the Naval Forces School in Jounieh on Tuesday December 22, 2020. The purpose of the visit was to check in on marine cadets who are pursuing their studies at the university from a distance, given the current circumstances, and to discuss ways to further develop cooperation.

Prof. Abboud was received by the Commander of the Naval School, Colonel Ahmed Bashara and Captain Wadih Bou Saleh. Abboud also met the two marine cadets Tania Saleh and Mary Christian Aswad, who are pursuing their studies in the framework of cooperation between the school and the University of Balamand.​
