It is my pleasure to welcome Dr. Nour Rachkidi to the University of Balamand as Director of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management.

Dr. Rachkidi is a graduate of the Faculty of Business and Management at the University of Balamand, and he holds a postgraduate degree in International Hospitality and Hotel Management from the University of Wester Sydney in Australia, as well as a Ph.D. in Tourism and Hospitality Marketing from Rennes-1 University in France. He joins UOB after serving as the Head of Master Program at Sagesse University, which is affiliated with École hôtelière de Lausanne.

With his academic background and extensive experience in the Tourism and Hospitality Management sectors, Dr. Rachkidi has accupied senior academic and administrative positions in leading institutions. He designed new academic programs and developed new curricula for higher education institutions. Aside from his academic career, Dr. Rachkidi offers consultancy to hospitality and tourism organizations seeking support with their business management and performance.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Hamid Debs for his long years of service at the School of Tourism and Hotel Management.
