With the safety of the community in mind and that of parents and students, the University of Balamand has continued with its vaccination campaign for students between the ages of 12 and 18, i.e., those born between 2003 and 2009. The University of Balamand Vaccination Center (UOBVAX) visited Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour, on Saturday November 6th, to provide students with the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine and have planned for a second visit 28 days later for the second dose. Staff members and administration were also eligible to take the vaccine, providing they met the conditions set by the Ministry of Public Health.

On the occasion, The President of the Center and Chief Operations Officer at UOB, Dr. Youssef Bassim commented: “We thank the school’s administration for the trust it has placed in the Center and the University of Balamand as well as the students who expressed their desire to create a safe environment in the school and in their homes. I would also like to personally thank the UOBVAX team who has portrayed immense commitment and dedication to this noble cause.”
