The University of Balamand would like to congratulate Ibrahim Kachmar, a senior medical laboratory sciences student who achieved a score of 524 on the Medical College Admission Test MCAT, attaining the highest score in Lebanon and the MENA.

This score placed Ibrahim in the 100th percentile of all test takers, which is a position shared with only 400 students in the world each year.

Commenting on his achievement, Ibrahim stated: “Medicine is my calling. My great interest in the medical field constantly motivates me to dedicate my time and efforts to study and explore the health care particularity. I attribute my success to my work ethic, the superb education I received from the University of Balamand and the Faculty of Health Sciences. This achievement will certainly offer me high chances and great opportunities to pursue my studies abroad and expend my medical expertise.” ​
