On March 27, 2025, the University of Balamand (UOB) held its 9th annual Libraries Open Doors event at the Issam Fares Library Learning Center (IFLLC). This annual event aims to introduce UOB students to the wide range of library services and resources available to support their academic work and research.

This year’s event embraced the theme Lebanon, chosen to honor the strength and unity of the community after the challenges faced at the start of the academic year due to the war. The event atmosphere was vibrant and festive, with over five interactive game stations where students could engage, learn, and have fun while exploring the library’s resources and had the chance to win exciting prizes.

The success of the event was made possible with the generous support of sponsors, including Librairie Antoine, ProQuest, EBSCO, and MMO. The event concluded with a special visit from Provost George Bahr, who congratulated the winners and presented the prizes.
