In the framework of the Master Program in New Testament Studies, Dr Eleni Kasselouri gave a course on “Women in the New Testament” during the months of October and November 2009 at the Institute of Theology. During her visit she also gave a public lecture on November 19 at the Monastery of our Lady of Balamand on the subject of

“Women in the Life of the Orthodox Church”.

Dr. Kasselouri is specialized in New Testament Hermeneutics and affiliated to the Volos Academy for Theological Studies. She has published two books in Greek on women in NT, she co-edited one in English and she published many biblical and theological articles in Greek, English and German.
