During the Meetings

The Institute of Theology at the University of Balamand hosted the annual meeting of Deans and Directors of the Theological Institutes in the Middle East. Participants from Lebanon, Syria and Egypt attended the meeting, as well as the Secretary-General of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), Mr. Girgis Saleh.

The Dean of the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology, Dr. Georges Nahas, being the President of the ATIME for this year, chaired the meetings. He welcomed the participants, relating to them the blessings of His Beatitude Patriarch IGNATIUS IV of Antioch and All the East, and the best wishes of Dr. Elie Salem, the President of the University of Balamand.
