The Orthodox Christian Society of the Oxford University invited His Grace Bishop John Yazigi of Pyrgou to deliver a lecture about "Orthodox Christianity in the Middle East, and the Patriarchate of Antioch.
The lecture took place on Wednesday, November 14, 2001, at 7:00 PM in the Gerrard Room, Harris Manchester College, Mansfield Road, Oxford.
