EuNIT Network Conference & External Training session

Three colleagues from the University of Balamand (UOB) have participated in the EuNIT network conference (Activity T3.4) that was organized in Amman, Jordan between 10 and 11 July, 2019 at the University of Princess Sumaya for Technology. Their participation is in the framework of the “European project desigN and management In the South MediTerranean Region - EuNIT”. In this context, the UOB trainers, Mrs. Eliane Nassar and Mrs. Rana Chahine, have performed their presentation during the first external training session to colleagues who have not participated in the EuNIT project (Activity T3.4). The presentation can be accessed by pressing on the following link “Presentation-Amman-Jordan”. The UOB colleagues have presented the “International Credit Mobility Program, Its technical aspects” and how it can be implemented “a UOB case”.

The conference has the objective to raise awareness of the network's activities and to inform the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of the region about the possibilities available in terms of EU projects, particularly, the HEIs which are not members of the project's consortium. Also, the conference was an opportunity to launch the regional EuNIT network (Activity T3.3) of the EU Units in the eight partner Higher Education Institutions in the south Mediterranean region and consequently, to encourage the HEIs in the region to join the network. Thus, the conference, through the first external session, will be an opportunity to transfer the knowledge, skills and information gained by the selected trainers through the organized training sessions in the various European Universities involved in the project.
