About Us
The Dr. Elias G. El-Chami Medical Simulation Center at the University of Balamand is a state-of-the-art experiential learning facility located within the Faculty of Medicine in Koura, Lebanon. Spanning over 1,000 square meters, the Center is designed as a fully functional miniature hospital, offering immersive, high-fidelity clinical environments that replicate real-life healthcare settings.
Our facility includes an operating room, emergency department, intensive care unit, labor and delivery suite, neonatal care unit, outpatient clinics, and dedicated skills training and debriefing areas and 12 standardized clinical examination rooms. In addition, our advanced Virtual Reality suite hosts cutting-edge simulators for surgical, interventional, and diagnostic training.
As an
American Heart Association (AHA) International Training Center, we provide certified training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
