President of the University of Balamand (UOB), Dr. Elias Warrak, welcomed the General Consul for France in Beirut, Mr. Julien Bouchard, along with Ms. Pascale Harfouche and Mr. Emmanuel Khoury, Director of the French Institute of Tripoli, at the university’s main campus in Koura.
UOB’s Provost, Deans, the Chief Operating Officer and Dr. Naji Aoun, were also in attendance.

President Warrak and Mr. Bouchard discussed the university's academic development, educational programs, and international relations, particularly with French institutions and universities. The attendees also explored opportunities for academic and cultural collaboration between the university and the consulate.

The meeting concluded with a luncheon at the Presidential Residence.
