The University of Balamand (UOB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tripoli Bar Association. The MoU was signed by UOB President, Dr. Elias Warrak and President of the Bar Association, Mrs. Marie-Therese Kawal (Al) on September 14, 2023, at the university’s main campus in Koura. The signing was also attended by Archimandrite George Yacoub, Oikonomos of the Lady of Balamand Monastery, Dr. George Bahr, University of Balamand Provost, Dr. Salim Kanaan, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Alumni Relations, and members of the Bar Association in Tripoli.

This collaboration underscores the shared vision of the University of Balamand and the Bar Association in Tripoli to enhance the academic standards for lawyers and their families. In pursuit of this goal, the University of Balamand is committed to leveraging its capabilities and resources to address the future educational requirements of lawyers and their families seeking academic pursuits at the university across various accredited disciplines. This initiative aligns with the university's national educational mission in Lebanon.
