Leadership role in healthcare quality



The participants may be Board members, leadership, hospital administrators, senior leaders, quality directors and staff responsible for the accreditation. administrative, clinical, paramedical staff and quality professionals who will be contributing to the development of quality care processes, a risk management program and the culture of safety in the organization, as well as supporting the journey to accreditation.

Target audience are board members, hospital administrators, senior leaders, quality directors and staff responsible for accreditation preparation.

Overall objectives of the program will be to prepare the participant to:

Key concepts related to leadership

  • - Understand what leadership is
  • - Understand the types of leadership styles
  • - Understand difference between leadership and management
  • - Understand board models
  • - Understand how to link quality data for the decision-making process of the board and leaders
  • - Understand what clinical leadership is





The program will cover the following:

  • - Understand how clinical leadership and Culture of Safety functions across disciplines
  • - Principles of change management
  • - Strategic planning




 





45 HOURS PER COURSE


30 hrs face time with JCI Faculty,
12 hrs self-paced learning,
3 hrs final exam
