Mission
The mission of the Pediatric Residency Program is to provide residents with the clinical experience and knowledge needed for providing a compassionate pediatric patient care.

Objectives
The Pediatric Residency Program aims to produce residents with a cumulative experience in diagnosis and management of all aspects of pediatric disease and a professional attitude in dealing with the families of pediatric patients.

Program Learning Outcomes
By the end of their training, residents are expected to:
  1. Assess and manage pediatric patients.
  2. Master the technical skills needed to optimize pediatric patient care.
  3. Perform and master basic invasive techniques.
  4. Perform and assist in all types of resuscitations.
  5. Acquire Emergency Room experience in pediatric patient care.
  6. Acquire autonomy in clinical decision making.
  7. Demonstrate compassion and empathy for pediatric patients and their families.
