Archimandrite Jack Khalil gives a series of lectures at the Charles University in Prague.

Rt. Rev. Dean Jack Khalil delivered several lectures in Prague.
The first two lectures were held on November 9, at the Hussite Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague, in collaboration with the Institute of Eastern Christianity and the Department of Biblical Studies and Judaic Studies of HTF UK.
In his first lecture, entitled “Interpretation of Romans 3:21-26 within its Proper Context”, Dean Fr. Jack Khalil explored the teachings of the Apostle St. Paul in this passage. The second lecture examined more closely the subject of Faith and Justification in the Corpus Paulinum.

Father Jack's third lecture was organized by the Prague Orthodox Eparchy in cooperation with the Theological Institute of St. Cyril and Methodius, and was presented to the general public in the Prague Cathedral of St. Cyril and Methodius on November 12. The lecture covered the prologue of the Gospel of St. John, as Father Jack Khalil explained to the audience how the Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ was transmitted in every verse of the prologue.

On Sunday, November 13, Rt Rev. Dean Jack Khalil participated in the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. Cyril and Methodius, presided by His Eminence Archbishop Michal of Prague, assisted by the priests of St. Cyril and Methodius. After the service, His Eminence Michal, thanked Father Jack for his visit and the profound lectures, and awarded him the medal of the New Martyr St. Gorazd (Pavlik) of Prague, and the Jubilee Cross.
