UOB Hosts Youth Consultation Session on the National Anti-Corruption Strategy

The Department of Political Science and International Affairs (PSIA) at the University of Balamand (UOB) hosted a youth consultation session on June 30, 2026, in collaboration with the Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform (OMSAR). The session was held as part of a nationwide consultation process supporting the development of Lebanon's National Anti-Corruption Strategy (2026–2030).

Led by OMSAR's Anti-Corruption Unit and facilitated by the PSIA Department, the session brought together students from the department and other faculties to share their views on governance, transparency, and anti-corruption priorities. The discussions aimed to ensure that young people's perspectives are reflected in the updated national strategy.

The consultation is part of a broader series of youth engagement activities taking place across Lebanon. It will be followed by a consultation on the National Youth Action Plan to further strengthen youth participation in the implementation and follow-up of the updated strategy.

UOB continues to collaborate with national institutions and key stakeholders to provide students with opportunities to engage in public policy discussions and contribute to issues of national importance.
