The Faculty of Business and Management (FOBM), in collaboration with the Career Services Center at the University of Balamand, welcomed Ms. Racile Kabbara for an engaging guest speaker session held at the Al Koura Campus on October 15, 2026.

Under the title “Navigating the World of Remote Work,” Ms. Kabbara guided students through the essential steps of identifying, securing, and succeeding in remote work opportunities, highlighting the growing importance of digital readiness in today’s evolving job market.

The session covered practical strategies for effective CV preparation, LinkedIn profile optimization, and attracting potential recruiters. Students also gained valuable insights into the key skills required to thrive in virtual work environments, including effective communication, time management, cross-cultural collaboration, productivity, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

The session provided students with practical guidance to enhance their employability and confidently explore career opportunities beyond geographical boundaries.

This initiative reflects FOBM’s and the Career Services Center’s ongoing commitment to bridging academic learning with professional development, equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in an increasingly digital and interconnected global workforce.
