The University of Balamand (UOB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Beirut Marathon Association (BMA), a non-profit organization that promotes sports, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement in Lebanon.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Elias Warrak, President of UOB, and Mrs. May El Khalil, President of BMA, and reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to empowering the community through sports, participation, and unity.

By joining forces, UOB and BMA aim to create opportunities for student involvement in sports-related events, volunteering, and awareness activities, while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle within the university and the wider community. Additionally, the collaboration supports various events, student engagement, and community outreach initiatives.

This partnership reinforces the role of both institutions in promoting sports, active living, and positive community impact.
