On August 2nd 2022, the University of Balamand welcomed Dr. Moustafa Al Helwe, who was tasked with delivering a collection of books from Syndey – Australia to the Issam Fares Library Learning Center.

The Department of Public Health Receives Two Grants to Bolster Research Innovation and Community Support
The University of Balamand, along with Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), the University of California in San Diego, and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Morocco, has obtained a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for a joint project called “The GeoHealth Hub for Climate Change and Health in the Middle East and North Africa.”
The University of Balamand signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Nini Hospital
The University of Balamand (UOB) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nini Hospital. The MOU was signed by UOB President Dr. Elias Warrak, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Nini Hospital, Dr. Wahib Nini, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at UOB, Dr. Sami Azar.
Within the context of the SWaTH (Sustainable Water Treatment for Hospitals) project, Dr. Makram El Bachawati and Prof. Henri El Zakhem participated in the mobility to Plasmatrix Materials AB and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Swede.
