Description: This course provides an overview of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques and technologies in healthcare.
It introduces key AI concepts, such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, and their applications in healthcare. Participants will learn how AI is being used to improve clinical decision-making, patient care, and population health, as well as the ethical, legal, and social issues associated with AI in healthcare.

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who want to understand the basic concepts, challenges and opportunities of AI in their respective healthcare systems.

The course is also useful for those with relevant skills who have an interest in new professional groups emerging from AI, such as clinical data scientists, medical software engineers, and digital medicine specialists.

This course will allow the participants to:

  • 1- Understand the key concepts and techniques of AI, and their applications in healthcare.
  • 2- Learn about the challenges and opportunities of using AI in healthcare.
  • 3- Evaluate the potential benefits and risks of AI in healthcare.
  • 4- Examine the ethical, legal, and social implications of AI in healthcare.
  • 5- Develop critical thinking skills and apply them to analyze case studies and real-world examples of AI in healthcare.
  • 6- Develop practical skills in using AI tools and technologies for healthcare applications.
